Guidelines for Speakers and Oral Presenters

  • Presentation language: English (except Round Table on public scientific policies and strategies, on 05/dic, 16:00-18:00 hs. that will be presented in Spanish).

  • Slides in English.

  • File formats: Power Point .pptx, format: 16:9 widescreen. We recommend all PPT files be converted to the PPTX format.

  • Keynote, PDF, and Prezi files are not supported.

  • In case it might be helpful, see attached an optional PowerPoint template (16: 9 format); or in case you prefer incorporate the conference logo in slides directly, see attached logo.

  • As soon as you arrive to the Conference Venue, go to “Speaker Presentation Upload Room“. Please bring a copy of your PowerPoint and any videos to a folder on a USB thumb drive. PowerPoint does NOT embed videos. They must be placed in the same folder as your PowerPoint.

  • Then at the time of your presentation, at the lectern, there will be a monitor where you can follow your presentation.

  • We advise against relying on an internet connection for any critical aspects of a presentation.

  • PC computers will be provided in the session room. MAC users may use their personal laptops for their presentations, but must bring their computer and HDMI conectors/power supply so a technician may confirm compatibility of output.
